AXIAN Group CEO Hassanein Hiridjee has been named one of 2022’s Top 100 Most Influential Africans by New African magazine, just months after being awarded ‘CEO of the year’ at the Africa CEO Forum.

This New African magazine annual list recognizes Africans who have made the greatest impact during the year through their works and successes. The nominees come from all walks of life, political, artistic, sports, cultural, social or business, and share the same goal of championing the continent’s growth and doing more for its people, says New African.

The commitment of AXIAN Group and its CEO to expanding renewable energy projects, something that is crucial in the battle against climate change, was a major factor in deciding to include Hassanein Hiridjee in the list this year.

New African is a pan-African magazine, offering analysis of key issues affecting the continent. It is published by IC Publications, a London-based publisher of Africa-focused media.
