Grow ambition, intensify action, accelerate sustainable development goals
Raising Ambition, Driving Action, Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals
AXIAN is a pan-African Group providing services and infrastructure that drive the growth of key sectors essential to Africa’s progress and, by extension, to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
We co-create an innovative model of green, fair, and shared growth, built on inclusivity, collaboration, and the pooling of expertise.
Driving the acceleration of the Sustainable Development Goals
Yas Comoros launches an innovative health insurance solution for resellers.
YAS Comoros is building social protection for the informal sector because accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals demands innovation. Designed for independent workers in the informal market, this inclusive solution — with 45% of beneficiaries being women — is tailored to meet the unique needs of these extraordinary actors.
TOA Madagascar is committed to the environment by purchasing and promoting Jatropha biofuel: reducing carbon emissions, creating innovative economic opportunities, and fostering public-private partnerships.
The company has invested in telecom equipment powered by biofuel derived from Jatropha Mahafalensis seeds, an endemic plant from southwestern Madagascar. In the initial phase, 50 telecom sites were equipped at a cost of €205,000. To scale up the environmental, social, and economic impact, AXIAN is now engaging with the European Union, CIRAD, the United Nations system, and other private sector stakeholders to build a public-private partnership.
MVola strengthens its commitment to economic and social empowerment.
30 women operating cash points in Antananarivo (Madagascar) received training in business management and commercial development to equip them with the tools and ambitions to become drivers of sustainable development in their lives and in their country.
